Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan Creating TV Dance Competition For NBC
After taking over Jimmy Fallon's 'Lip Sync Battle' earlier this year, in an appearance that included Jenna giving a lap dance in a 'Magic Mike' spoof, the pair are hoping to continue the rhythm. Channing, who has a busy movie schedule, will executive-produce the six-episode series while wife Jenna will serve as a judge. The NBC series will compete with 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'America's Best Dance Crew'. However, the pair is said to have a "fresh take" on the genre. The couple met on the set of their breakout film 'Step Up', which was released in 2006, and tied the knot in 2009. Dewan used to be a backup dancer for Janet Jackson during her tour.
