Bruce Jenner Makes Debut As Caitlyn In 'Vanity Fair' Magazine

Bruce Jenner has officially made her debut as Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair in a photo by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

"The last few days in doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person," says Jenner. "It's not about the fanfare or people cheering in the stadium. It's not about going down the street and everybody giving me a 'That a boy, Bruce,' pat on the back. This is about your life."

"Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie every day he always had a secret. Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I'm free."

"If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,' and I don't want that to happen,'" she says.

After the cover was revealed, many Kardashian fans joked that the former athlete looked even better as a woman.

Caitlyn will make her first major public appearance and receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at ESPN's ESPY awards on July 15.
