Brooke Mueller: Charlie Sheen Threatened Me With Knife To Throat

Brooke Mueller tells police that Charlie Sheen pinned her on a bed, put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her in a Christmas Day fight in Aspen that began when she said she wanted a divorce.

An affidavit released by police on Monday quotes Mueller as saying that the actor straddled her on a bed with one hand grasping her neck and the other holding the knife.

"You better be in fear," he told her. "If you tell anybody, I'll kill you. Your mother's money means nothing, I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won't leave any trace."

Sheen admitted he and his wife had been having marital problems, but said they only slapped each other on the arms. He denied pushing or striking her, but he did admit that at one point, he took her eyeglasses and broke them in front of her.

He also told police that Brooke was abusing alcohol. An officer later noticed Mueller had "red marks on the upper part of the front of her neck."

Meanwhile, police have released audio from the call that led to Sheen's arrest on suspicion of second-degree assault, menacing, and criminal mischief.

In the 911 call, a shaky and tearful Mueller says: "My husband had me with a knife. I was scared for my life and he threatened me."

"I have people here. My family is here, but right now if I don't file this... I need to file it now. I've got to file this report," she repeats. "I thought I was going to die for one hour."

When asked for the name of her husband, Mueller pauses before tearfully blurting out: "It's Charlie Sheen."

"He's trying to leave right now," Mueller says. "He's trying to sneak out the back."

An ambulance was sent to the house but police say no one was taken to the hospital. The 44-year-old Sheen is free on $8,500 bond after spending the better part of Friday in a jail cell. He's due in court on February 8.

In December 1996, Sheen was arrested for attacking ex-girlfriend Brittany Ashfield. He pleaded guilty in 1997 and was placed on two years probation.
