'Brady Bunch' Mom Florence Henderson Dead At 82

Florence Henderson, who became the epitome of the sitcom mom playing Carol Brady on 'The Brady Bunch', died Thursday at a Los Angeles hospital. She was 82.

According to her manager, Henderson died from heart failure at about 7:30 PM while surrounded by her four children.

Her longtime manager and publicist Kayla Pressman, who had worked with her for four decades, was also by her side.

"She was the most vibrant, beautiful inside and out person I've ever known in my entire life," said Pressman. "We just never left each other. She was so wonderful to be with and she was most loyal."

Henderson was in the 'Dancing with the Stars' audience on Monday to support season 23 contestant and 'Brady Bunch' co-star Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia Brady.

"Florence Henderson was a dear friend for so very many years," McCormick said following the news. "You are in my heart forever Florence."

Henderson starred on 'The Brady Bunch' from 1969 to 1974. She also appeared in film as well as on stage and hosted several long-running cooking and variety shows over the years.
