Boyhood and The Affair Big Winners At 2015 Golden Globes

Richard Linklater was named best director and Patricia Arquette won supporting actress for her work in best drama 'Boyhood' while The Affair upset TV shows on the small screen with two wins at the 2015 Golden Globes.

Of his 'Boyhood' win, Linklater said: "The bottom line is we're all flawed in this world. No one's perfect."

"I want to dedicate this to my parents and to parents that are evolving everywhere, families that are just passing through this world and doing their best."

The ambitious film was shot over 12 years with the cast shooting only for a week or two each year.

Eddie Redmayne won best actor in a drama for 'The Theory of Everything' while Julianne Moore (photosJulianne Moore photos) in 'Still Alice' took top honours for best actress.
