Boyfriend Called 'Bailer' After Jumping To Avoid Baseball (Video)

A Houston Astros fan has earned the nickname 'The Bailer' after he jumped out of the way of an incoming baseball and let his girlfriend get hit instead.

The incident happened as Astros third baseman Chris Johnson drove a foul ball in the direction of the couple sitting in left-field.

Bo first positioned himself to catch the baseball but moved out of its way at the last minute, as it hit his girlfriend, Sarah, who was seated right behind him.

The broadcasters railed on him for a couple of minutes as they sent a reporter to interview the two about the incident.

So what was his excuse? "The ball was coming up and I was going to catch it and it was in the lights and I lost track of it."
