Bobby Brown Serves Just Nine Hours In Jail For 55-Day Sentence

Bobby Brown has been released from jail after serving just nine hours for a 55-day sentence.

The 44-year-old was handed down the sentence last month along with four years of probation for his most recent drunk driving arrest.

It was his second arrest for a DUI in less than a year.

According to police records, Brown was released at 6:58 PM after turning himself in shortly before 10 AM.

He was released with an electronically monitored ankle bracelet, as per the terms of his sentence, and is said to be back home.

"Mr. Brown has accepted responsibility for what occurred last October 2012," says his rep. "He is pleased that the matter has been resolved and to be home with this wife and young son."
