Bill Cosby Breaks Silence To Thank His Supporters

Bill Cosby is keeping mum about the rape allegations that continue to pile up. But the comedian broke his silence to thank two of his supporters on Wednesday.

"Thank you Miss Jill Scott, from the Cosby Family," the actor said on Twitter later adding, "Thank you Whoopi Goldberg."

Both Scott and Goldberg have publicly defended Cosby.

Scott faced backlash after she called the allegations against Cosby "insane" and asked "So they've proven the alleged allegations? I didn't know. Will they also be giving him back the millions he's donated?"

The singer received an honorary degree from Cosby earlier this year at Temple University.

Meanwhile Goldberg, who is a good friend of his, stood up to her 'View' co-stars, and said she had a "lot of questions."

"It seems now you're guilty no matter what, even if you're innocent, you're guilty because once somebody accuses you of this, that's what you are," she said.
