Bill Clinton To Make Appearance in 'The Hangover' Sequel

Bill Clinton will make an appearance in the sequel to 'The Hangover'.

The 64-year-old former president shot his brief appearance on Saturday in Bangkok, where he was visiting to deliver a speech on clean energy.

The sequel, which reunites Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha, most recently made headlines when it dropped Mel Gibson after a bit of public outrage and a plea from Galifianakis.

Director Todd Phillips later said that he would have loved to have seen the actor in the film, but he didn't want to disrupt the 'family'.

"He's one of our finest actors and, quite honestly, one of our finest directors," Phillips said. "But 'The Hangover' is a family and as much as I loved the idea, a lot of people didn't. I didn't want anything to come in between that family."

"I thought Mel would have been great in the movie and I had the full backing of Jeff Robinov and his team. But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision did not ultimately have the full support of my entire cast and crew."
