'Big Brother 9' Winner Arrested For Selling Oxycodone

Adam Jasinski, the ninth-season 'Big Brother' winner, used his $500,000 prize to buy thousands of oxycodone pills and resell them, according to authorities.

The 31-year-old was arrested and charged after he tried to sell more than 2,000 pills to a government witness in North Reading, Massachusetts.

Jasinski tried to resist arrest and threw a sock containing two plastic bags filled with oxycodone under a car parked nearby.

However, agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration were able to recover the evidence and take him into custody.

Todd Prough, a special agent with the DEA, says Jasinski admitted that he has been using his winnings to buy thousands of oxycodone pills and reselling them along the East Coast for the past several months.

He could face a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine, if he is found guilty of possession of oxycodone pills with intent to distribute.

Jasinski was the $500,000 winner on 'Big Brother 9' in April 2008. He beat out fellow houseguest Ryan Quicksall for the grand prize.
