'Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons To Host 'Saturday Night Live'

'Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons will host 'Saturday Night Live' when the show returns on March 1.

Parsons, who stars as fan favorite Sheldon Cooper on the CBS comedy, will make his SNL hosting debut.

Meanwhile, Beck will return for his seventh appearance as musical guest with his next album, 'Morning Phase', out later this month.

On a related note, CBS has announced that 'Big Bang Theory' will likely move from its Thursday night slot season to accommodate its National Football League Thursday night broadcast.

“What we will do with our Thursday night is, we have some big shows, such as 'The Big Bang Theory'... and we're not going to wait until November to launch that," said CEO Les Moonves in a call with investors.

"That's going to be on the air on some other night, which will grow the ratings and the rates on some other night."
