Joe Biden Sends Wishes After Julia Louis-Dreyfus Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Julia Louis-Dreyfus released a statement on Thursday revealing that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 56-year-old 'Veep' star said: "1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one

"The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let's fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality."

The 'Seinfeld' alum made history after winning her sixth trophy in a row for playing Selina Meyer on 'Veep'.

Not long after the revelation, former Vice President Joe Biden sent his support to Louis-Dreyfus.

"We Veeps stick together. Jill and I, and all of the Bidens, are with you, Julia," Biden remarked on social media that included a photo of the two together.
