Betty White Reveals Biggest Regret Not Marrying Husband Earlier

Betty White says her biggest regret in life is a personal one rather than a professional one.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday's 'Oprah: Where Are They Now?', the 93-year-old actress said her biggest regret was not marrying her husband a year earlier.

"I spent a whole year, wasted a whole year, that Allen and I could have had together, saying 'No' I wouldn't marry him," White told Oprah.

"Saying, no, I won't leave California. No, I won't move to New York. I wasted a whole year we could have had together."

"But, we made it. We finally did," she added with a smile.

The couple were together for 18 years before her husband, Allen Ludden, died from stomach cancer in 1981. They met when she was a panelist on the hit 60s show he hosted, 'Password'.
