'Beavis and Butt-Head' To Return To MTV This Summer

'Beavis and Butt-head' will be returning to MTV.

The program, created by Mike Judge, followed the misadventures of two punk teenagers or, as MTV calls him, America's two favorite animated idiots.

The original 'Beavis and Butt-head' series ran on the network from 1993 to 1997 with 200 episodes. They character's also starred in two feature films, a comic book series, and also inspired the spin-off series 'Daria'.

The characters first appeared in a short called 'Frog Baseball' as part of an old MTV animation show called 'Liquid Television'.

The popularity of the skit led to the development of the half-hour show, which combined the pair's antics with various music videos.

No official premiere date has been announced, except that it will be this summer. So if you need a fix before then, see Beavis and Butt-head's return to promote 'Extract' a couple of years ago.
