'Bachelor In Paradise's DeMario Jackson Says Character Has Been Assassinated
Jackson was the other party in the sexual encounter with Olympios, who may have been too intoxicated to consent, according to producers. "It's unfortunate that my character and family name has been assassinated this past week with false claims and malicious allegations," Jackson says in a statement. "I will be taking swift and appropriate legal action until my name is cleared and, per the advice of legal counsel, will be seeking all available remedies entitled to me under the laws." Filming of season four of the reality series in Mexico has already been shut down and it is unlikely to resume this summer. "Warner Bros. is handling the investigation. They're moving quickly to gather all the facts, and once that's done a clear concise decision can be made about where we go from here," says longtime host Chris Harrison. DeMario Jackson is breaking his silence after fellow 'Bachelor In Paradise' contestant Corinne Olympios revealed she was the victim of alleged sexual misconduct at his hands.
