Amy Schumer Won't Apologize For Including Ryan Dunn In Joke

Roasts are supposed to be a little mean spirited but Amy Schumer is taking some heat for including Ryan Dunn in one of her jokes on Monday.

"Steve-O, I truly am -- no jokes -- sorry for the loss of your friend, Ryan Dunn," Schumer said at the Charlie Sheen Roast. "I know you must have been thinking 'it could have been me.'"

"And I know we were all thinking, why wasn't it?!," she quipped.

But when the camera panned to Steve-O, the funny stuntman looked visibly upset and definitely wasn't laughing. Neither was anyone else.

Dunn, who was driving drunk at more than 130 mph, died in a car accident in June.

However, the comedian, who was one of the stars of the Roast, says she doesn't regret the joke.

"I don't feel the need to apologize," she says. "I respect people's opinion as long as they understand what the joke is. It wasn't a Ryan Dunn joke. It was a Steve-O joke."

"It was a typical roast joke. It had the formula of any roast joke. That wasn't even one of the jokes I had where I was thinking, 'here it comes, I'm going to drop the hammer now.'"

About 6.4 million tuned in for the wildly successful Charlie Sheen Roast.
