Amber Heard Retracts Request For $50,000 A Month Spousal Support

Amber Heard (photosAmber Heard photos) has retracted her request for $50,000 a month of spousal support, for now.

Heard's original request was denied by the judge who granted her restraining order because she was a successful actor in her own right. However, she is know withdrawing the request altogether because of the bad publicity.

Heard claims in newly filed documents that the request is being "used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence."

"In light of the coordinated false and negative media campaign falsely depicting my attempts to attain a CLETS Domestic Violence Restraining Order as being financially motivated, I am hereby with drawing the request," she says.

That doesn't mean Heard can't refile the request in the future.

A hearing had been originally scheduled for June 17 but that will no longer take place because Heard has to attend to commitments related to 'Justice League' in London. She plays Aquaman's Queen Mera in the film.
