Alyssa Milano Leaves 'Mistresses' Because 'Being a Mother Comes First'

Alyssa Milano (photosAlyssa Milano photos) won't be returning for another season of ABC series Mistresses because "being a mother and wife comes first."

Milano made the announcement on Thursday, just weeks after giving birth to her second child, daughter Elizabella Dylan Bugliari. The actress said she made the decision because the show won't be filming its new season in Los Angeles.

"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada, for financial reasons," she said on her website. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate."

"I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away."

"I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."

Producers haven't said whether Milano will return to give her character, Savannah 'Savi' Davis a proper exit.
