Adele Gives Producers Finger After Being Cut Off At Brit Awards

After winning six Grammys, Adele took home the big awards for Best British Album and Best British Female artist at the Brit Awards.

But the singer flipped the middle finger after she was cut off during her speech and escorted offstage.

"Thank you so much. It's been an amazing year," the 23-year-old began after a standing ovation. "Nothing makes me prouder than winning six Grammys then coming to the Brits and winning album of the year."

"I am so, so proud to be British and to be flying the flag and I'm so proud to be in the room with all of you," she said just as host James Corden cut in.

"You're going to cut me off?," she asked as the crowd booed. "Can I just say then goodbye and I'll see you next time around."

Offended Adele then flipped the middle finger just as the cameras shifted for the performance by Blur.

"I flung the middle finger for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans," she explained backstage. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me."

A spokesperson for ITV, which aired the awards, issued an apology following the show.

"The Brits is a live event. Unfortunately, the program was over-running and we had to move on. We would like to apologize to Adele for the interruption."
