Adele Apologizes After Fan Injured By Fallen Chain At Glasgow Concert

Adele is apologizing after a fan was injured at one of her concerts in Glasgow, Scotland.

The incident happened Friday night at the sold-out SSE Hydro venue in Glasgow when a chain apparently fell from production rig and hit a woman in the audience. The fan was treated at the scene and hospitalized as a precaution.

"I'm so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight. It's being investigated to ensure it won't happen again," the 27-year-old expressed on Twitter.

Her production team says in its own statement that: "The safety of every member of our audience is paramount and we are currently working with the promoter's production team to establish why this happened and to ensure it does not happen again."
